The Jaguar Etype series II OTS with hardtop. A car from the time when smoking was still healthy, when the television only had one channel and, most importantly, when driving was still real driving, without helping hands or sensation-enhancing gimmicks!
This long feline has its origins in a more exotic country than the Low Countries, the United States. That is why the owner opted for an open two-seater in 1970, so this is a series II. The beautiful colour is called Willow Green with a beige interior. The 4.2 litre six-in-line as the beating heart of the black feline sounds like no other. An aggressive growl and yet stylish. Ours is from the second series, which received a little more comfort compared to the Series 1. This time, the headlights were fitted with sealed lenses (which saves on condensation), the bumper fitted better to the body and the cooling and brakes were also upgraded.
This is not just any E-type. This is a one of a kind. It’s rare to come across a car with such a history, colour and options. This car actually has everything you want. The first owner was an American gentleman who looked after the car down to the last detail. The fact that there are invitations to ball parties in it, and a bill for the vacuuming of the car by the dealer, tells us enough. This is not a car you should look at on a screen, but you should be enchanted by it in real life. Willow green with this beige interior takes every passer-by into ecstasy. The car has always remained within the family, and it is an original car with matching numbers and even the receipt from the USA, so first owner. It is like stepping into a museum!
